Pens and Things

As life continues to swarm around me, I have found a new favourite fun pen, the Mango Safari Ballpoint. I love it. I have been clicking around like nobody’s business. I have never been one for the Safari ballpoint in general, but in these new candy colours, the all mangoey mango was calling out to me. The fountain pen version needed a sidekick (an ego booster? a foil?).

Several weeks ago we got in a big shipment from Leuchtturm1917, which is always nice. We stocked the standard line and also got in some new things. Their notebooks are popular with bullet journaling, but they’re also just great all around notebooks. They’re high quality, look great, especially that classic Black A5 notebook, and most importantly for me, the paper is pretty fountain pen friendly.

A few days ago we got in our first shipment of MT washi tapes, and it was glorious. I came out of Jon’s dark office, lights off for Naomi’s nap, squinting like a mole in the daylight, and what should be waiting on the table just for me but those white MT boxes.

We got some new stuff in from Classiky. It's always exciting to see the boxes coming in from Japan. It's different from when you're expecting a big shipment of the new special edition Lamy Safari, and you sort of know what you're going to get, although you're excited to see it in person. Classiky shipments are always full of so many different small treats and fun things and surprises. While some of our favourite things get discontinued, there are always new things, and it's nice to have an excuse to pore over their catalogues.
