Pilot 78G Discontinued
It's with some sadness and nostalgia that I'm letting you know the 78G is being discontinued. The classic red and black and teal and green colours are soon to be gone from our shelves!
Pilot Custom 92
It's been too long since I last took a look a fountain pen on the blog! A bit out of distraction and disorganization, with our recent trip, and other things going on in the shop, but here is one of my all time favourite pens: the Pilot Custom 92. It's a piston filler with a smooth and wet 14K nib.
J. Herbin 1670 Anniversary Ink - Caroube de Chypre
The long awaited Caroube de Chypre, the brown 1670 ink from J. Herbin, has arrived! I had (and still have) a whole bunch of blog posts in the queue, some of which I had ideally wanted done before we leave on our trip but now may never happen given my organizational skills.
Pilot Retro Pops in Medium & Fine
At long last! We finally have the Pilot Metropolitan in the Retro Pop colours! We've had our eye on these guys for a long time!
Pilot Falcon Fountain Pens in the Shop!
We've got a few exciting projects and things in the works planned out for the next few months, and this is the first of them! We're now carrying the Pilot Falcon fountain pen. I know, I know: good grief, finally.
Iroshizuku Minis
We got in a few of these Iroshizuku 15 mL sets. Maybe it's because I'm a small fish in a world made for regular sized people, but I have a thing for mini sized things. It's just so nice when things are appropriately sized - meal portions, chairs, clothes, 15mL Iroshizuku bottles.
Pilot Sign Pen & Fineliner Markers
I hope you're all having a great week so far! I think it might be a shorter week for most of us, with the holiday on Monday.
Pilot Kakuno :)
The first of these new pens to share is the Pilot Kakuno is probably the one I'm most excited about.
Pilot Parallel Pen as a Highlighter
Sometimes we get customers who tell us they use their Lamy or TWSBI 1.5 italic nibs as highlighters, filling them with a highlighter ink like Noodler's Firefly, or another light ink. 1.5 is a pretty broad nib for writing, and you can get some good calligraphic action out of it, but you can also consider using a Parallel Pen if you're ready to get serious about your highlighting.
