Field Notes National Parks + Wilco
The summer quarterly release from Field Notes were three sets, called the National Parks Series, A, B, and C. They did extremely well, so much so that Field Notes just released a Series D. Gorgeous covers, each featuring a National Park in the US in collaboration with Fifty-Nine Parks, which created each of these stunning pieces as screen-printed posters in celebration of American National Parks, in support of The National Park Service.
Sailor Pro Gear Graphite Lighthouse
I used to be a Pro Gear person before I turned into a 1911 person, but with this new Pro Gear Graphite Lighthouse, I think I’m returning home. The main difference between the Pro Gear series and the 1911 series is that the Pro Gear pens have flat ends, whereas the 1911 series have rounded ends—a matter of aesthetics.
Zebra Mildliner Highlighters
We are keeping up with the back to school theme. This is actually our theme year round, but I mean, September is our time to shine.
The Superior Labor Bear Cub
Some moons (several months) ago now I came across this leather bear cub made by Superior Labor and, well. Here I am now.
TWSBI ALR-Purple
The TWSBI ALR Purple was released last week and what a beauty. I fluctuate between being slightly behind the ball to being extremely behind the ball and so I’m sorry to say it’s already mostly gone, but we are expecting a new shipment imminently, hopefully by the end of the week.*
Three Platinum 3776s
A Dozen Pencils: Haruki Murakami and the Blackwing Volumes 811s
One of life's greatest satisfactions in life for me as both someone who loves stationery, and as someone who makes a living off trying to convince other people that stationery is still, you know, a thing, is when there are references to stationery in pop culture: when someone uses a fountain pen in a movie, and you force everyone to wait while you rewind 15 seconds and try to freeze it so you can identify the pen; when you read an article about your favourite author or artist's writing tools; and of course, when stationery makes an appearance in a book I'm reading.
New Bungubox Inks + New Sailor Bottles
Ah, new Sailor inks. They are the ruin of me.
There are some new Bungubox inks on our shelves. They're not new new, but just new to North America.
Ferris Wheel Press Inks
Some of you may have already heard of them from their Kickstarter campaign they ran last year, a massive success. Pretty exciting for us and our shop, though, is that Ferris Wheel Press is based out of just north of Toronto, in Markham - in fact, Raymond from Ferris Wheel Press dropped off the inks in person.
Lamy Crystal Inks
It's always exciting when new inks come in, although the Lamy Crystal inks have actually been on our shelves for a while.*
