New Canadian Postage Stamps and Letter Writing Club: Thursday, June 13th
Canada Post released some new postage stamps, and they’re looking pretty great. I’m normally not a fan of non square or rectangular postage stamps—I like my stamps to look like stamps—but the latest few releases are fun. I often order large quantities of stamps in bulk online for our Lettermail shipping, but it’s also nice to to visit your local post office and poke around.
A Little Santa Excitement
While I'm not really a crafty person, this time of year, with the Christmas trees and the Christmas candy at the registers, brings out the festive in me.Â

We buy lots of stamps for our Lettermail, which we normally order online since we order in bulk, but it's still always exciting when Canada Post announces new stamps and I have to stop by a post office to pick up a couple of booklets for myself.Â
Letter Writing Club and a CBC Interview
Our Letter Writing Club is happening this week (Thursday, August 9th), and the timing couldn't be better as the CBC just released a three part series on a "Return to Analog," featuring film photography, pen and paper, and typewriters.Â
Letter Writing Club - Thursday, July 12
In the midst of all this summer heat, we're gearing up for our next Letter Writing Club this week, on Thursday, July 12th. It's in our new location in Little Italy, at 52 Clinton Street, but as always, it's from 7-9, free, and with supplies provided.
Letter Writing Supplies
As a result of our impending move, I've been packing away some of our extra things in our apartment - winter clothes, books, toys. My overflowing stationery cupboard in particular has benefited from some pruning of unusable material, but most of it has been stored in boxes waiting to be moved.

Our LAST LETTER WRITING CLUB (in this shop) is happening tomorrow! I can hardly believe it.
International Correspondence Writing Month 2018
A new year and we're almost done with January! I can hardly believe it, but to help make up for the shock of it, February is a month that brings with it Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year and abundant correspondence.

One of my favourite letter writing papers is this ultra thin paper from Life Stationery, the Life Airmail pad.
Christmas Correspondence
I love this season, when you can hold a stack of cards and envelopes, freshly stamped and addressed and ready to be dropped off at a mailbox. Christmas cheer from our home to all sorts of houses and apartments and families and homes around the world.
