A new year and we're almost done with January! I can hardly believe it, but to help make up for the shock of it, February is a month that brings with it Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year and abundant correspondence.
By now you might have picked up on the fact that February is International Correspondence Writing Month, and you may yourself be participating full on, writing a letter a day to someone, or maybe just writing a letter or two this month for the fun of it.
As we're heading into International Correspondence Writing Month, InCoWriMo, some of you may have new pen pals to write to, or people you've stumbled across who are also participating in the campaign. Our emails from our pen pal match have already gone out, so hopefully some of you will have some new mail on its way to or from you.
All you need to bring are a few addresses to write to, or of course you could always write the letters with a plan to address them later (this plan doesn't always work well for me as I lose track of my envelopes).
Happy New Year! It's already January 2017 - hard to believe, but we're embracing it here. And, before we've even got our teeth into January, we're looking ahead to February!
International Correspondence Writing Month is February, where letter writers unite from their individual locations, and write one letter a day for the entire month. It's a good month because we're just starting to become a bit batty from all the snow and winter, and it's also a short month ;)
