Our LAST LETTER WRITING CLUB (in this shop) is happening tomorrow! I can hardly believe it.
Can you believe we're already two weeks into October? It's always a thrill and surprise when our Letter Writing Club rolls around again, which is coming up tomorrow, on Thursday, October 12, from 7-9 pm.
Unfortunately, I didn't make it. A letter a day, even for a month as short as February, seems beyond my apparently limited means.
Happy New Year! It's already January 2017 - hard to believe, but we're embracing it here. And, before we've even got our teeth into January, we're looking ahead to February!
The last few evenings I've been staying up late trying to finish up our Christmas cards, and I'm mostly through the list. I always enjoyed the process of picking out Christmas cards for family and friends.
Our Letter Writing Club is happening again this Thursday (December 8) - the last one of 2016! crazy! - and I thought this was the perfect time to remind everyone of Canada Post's Letter Writing to Santa initiative.
Our Letter Writing Club is tonight! I usually try to do a reminder post a few days earlier so people have time to think about whether or not they can make it, but of course I forgot - I do hope a few of you can still make it! Last month was one of my favourite Letter Writing Club meets to date: we had a bunch of great people, but also a few familiar faces that I hadn't seen in a while, including one who had just returned from spending a few months sailing around on a boat.
If you've followed the blog for a while, you'll know that postage stamps are some of my favourite things. I've spent more time than I'd like to admit on the Canada Post website, Vintage stamps are especially beautiful, but are a bit harder to come by and can sometimes be more expensive, so I'm always haunting the Canada Post website to see what new stamps are out.
