A Summer Work Space
Naomi, 10 months old, naps usually once or twice a day. We've reached the stage where I'm trying to push it to once a day, because if she naps late morning or lunch time, both having a second nap (a difficult achievement) or not having a second nap (a cranky baby) are challenging.

It's the last dog days of summer, before we ramp up to getting ready for back to school (the shop and Caleb) and the excitement of a new, fresh fall season, my favourite time of the year - something I think maybe many stationery nerds can empathize with.
Studio Shop News + Updates
As promised, here are a few more updates on the new studio shop. It's hard to believe it's finally all coming together. This week has been our most exciting week yet - plumbers, electricians, drywall, dumpsters, a cherry picker parked in our backyard.
Taste of Little Italy
This past weekend was the Taste of Little Italy, an annual street festival along College, featuring all sorts of tasty food. College Street is closed down to cars, and fills up with tents and smokey barbecues and crowds of people. Jon and I had been before, but it was Caleb's first time, and it was also our first year experiencing it as a local shop, although the shop is slightly tucked away from the main thoroughfare.

The other day Jon had an appointment in Cabbagetown, and I took the babies down the street to Allan Gardens to wait for him.
Settling Into the New Shop
We made it! I wasn't sure if we would. It's been a while since I've updated the blog, and I'm working on getting back into the swing of things now.
Setting Up The New Shop
It's been a whirlwind of a week, as we've packed up and moved everything across the city, and the last of the renovations have finished up here at 52 Clinton Street. We're opening up tomorrow!
Our Last Days on Carlaw
Last Saturday was our last day on Carlaw. It was a wild and emotional and hectic day, but it was so wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces coming by to say hello (and goodbye).
Our Moving Celebrations! Saturday, April 28th
Dear Pen Friends, We're moving! Our last day here is quickly approaching - all the things we had meant to do one last time before we leave are now by the wayside as we scramble to sort out all the boxes and packing and breaking down shelving and furniture for the move. We are uncovering hidden stock and old dog toys and lots of dust.
