Reliable Fish and Chips is closing. Not so reliable any more, eh? Haha, I sob into my fish and chips, salt and vinegar and tears and unfunny jokes making the whole situation even sadder.

The kids have gone back to school, and I’m both relieved and also more and more anxious about a thousand things for them, both Covid and non Covid related.

New stationery, fresh from Japan! You can find them here on the website, sets of correspondence stationery with envelopes, stickers, tiny little people wandering the earth in search of tasty concession snacks.

I had previously stated that Tuna had ceded most of the house except the kitchen and bathroom to Chicken, and this has turned out to be untrue, no news cycle able to keep up with the vagaries of love between these two.

I am sipping my tea, and looking out the window at the various shades of winter and enjoying the neat stack of beautifully warmed leather beside me. In the photo above, I have my TSL pen and wallet case, housing my fountain pens, my Traveler’s Notebook, my Midori A5 leather cover, and on the bottom my TSL leather A5 cover, all of which have been with me for some time.

Some time ago, I had had some vague idea that I could do a monthly blog post on which pens I had inked up, something to keep me on track, and would also be useful since I sometimes ink up new pens or new special editions that come into the shop. Lots of potential birds with one stone. It goes without saying that that was a bit ambitious, if still a nice thought.
