Gotamago Paper Goods - Cards for All Occasions
Customers sometimes ask if we carry cards, especially if they are in a bit of a rush on their way to a celebration, and we've only ever had are the blank card sets from G. Lalo. While I still love these G. Lalo cards, since they are super with fountain pens, and they're an elegant way to drop a quick note,
How I Use My Midori Traveler's Notebook - Passport Size
We had been carrying Midori products for a while, but I hadn't quite made the transition to using one for my everyday carry.
J. Herbin Wax Seals - Supple Wax and Brass Seals
We've occasionally had thoughts about bringing in sealing wax and supplies from J. Herbin, but we've never actually pulled the trigger
Superior Labor Pen Cases
I'm not in the shop too much these days, usually only for an hour or two, or sometimes less if there's something else that's going on, like the dog throwing up on the carpet after knocking over a plant and eating dirt.
Kaweco Italic or Calligraphy Nibs - 1.1, 1.5, 1.9, 2.3
Many companies make italic or stub nibs as an option for their pens, including Lamy, TWSBI, Edison, and of course, Kaweco. These "italic" or "calligraphy" nibs are primarily a European writing style, so you may not find them as often on Japanese or Asian pens, except as a music nib.
Pilot Parallel Pen as a Highlighter
Sometimes we get customers who tell us they use their Lamy or TWSBI 1.5 italic nibs as highlighters, filling them with a highlighter ink like Noodler's Firefly, or another light ink. 1.5 is a pretty broad nib for writing, and you can get some good calligraphic action out of it, but you can also consider using a Parallel Pen if you're ready to get serious about your highlighting.
Inks for your Special Valentine
At some point, I may have mentioned I'm not really a pink ink person. I don't know if it's the bashfulness of using such a bright ink, or that it's too girly, but at this time of year, you've got to pull out the scarlet and the fuchsia.
Waterman Hemisphere
The snow! I can hardly believe how much snow is out there. The dog had a fun romp about outside, while the I had a fun viewing of it from inside with a steaming mug of coffee.
Life Kappan Writing Stationery
Jon has gone off and left me with these two non-contributing members of the family, and so I thought it would be a good time to get some writing done.
