Giveaway! Bleu Ocean, Stormy Grey & Rouge Hematite

Hey and congrats on the new store!! If I am ever in town I will be visiting!
Still waiting for the things to really warm up out West but enjoying the days as they come! Would love to try out the Stormy Grey! I blame the cloud cover we have today! If you asked me yesterday then it would have been Bleu Ocean! Cheers and take care!

Wish I were in the GTA, would love to the see the shop… I have a sampler of the grey on my desk right now, haven’t gotten my pen cleaned out yet to try it. Friend also got me a sample of the blue so will try that next I see him as well… so… can’t pick a fav yet. :D

Hello! Of the Herbin inks I have to say that I love stormy grey. I’d like it even without the gold flakes.

Hello! Looking forward to trying that Bleu Ocean…

I was lucky enough to get a sample of the reformulated Bleu Ocean from the States. I love this reformulated ink with the gold sheen. The blue is a nice, saturated blue, leaning toward indigo. It would be quite appropriate even in most work environments. Flow is nice, drying time is very reasonable.

Hi guys! I’m so glad I found your site! Finding good pen and ink sellers in Canada can be a challenge. I had my first fountain pen oops last night, with Diamine Pumpkin everywhere! My hands were orange but now they are pink for some reason haha. I think my favorite 1670 ink is the stormy grey. I’ve got so many blue inks which get boring, and I don’t use red very often. Anyways, thanks for giving the opportunity to win some great inks! Cheers!

Hello! I like the sound of storm grey… Could be my favorite because I don’t have a grey ink yet. I’ve been enjoying the warm weather out in my yard with my longbow. One of the perks of non city living!

I love the bleu ocean, reminds me of summer on vancouver island, deep blue flecked with gold. spring has been glorious, spent the weekend in Vancouver wandering around downtown and walking the sea wall at Stanley Park.

I’ve still got Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-Jaku in my Safari, but I’d love to switch it out for the summer with some J. Herbin inks.

It’s time I let you know how much I’ve enjoyed following the Adventures of J,L,S + Little C . The photos of you all and Maria made me sad – how wrenching it must have been to leave behind this dear friend. I suppose it’s what happens when you tag along with someone else’s life: you share the good, the sad and the renovations.

Thank you for putting so much time and energy into the blog. How do you manage it??? Your photos make my day especially if they’re of Super and Caleb. Though I loved the avocado and fried egg sandwich as well.

Does Caleb ever NOT smile? He looks so wise, he could be a guru.

Congratulations on your new location. I wish I was close enough to visit but the trip from Kelowna to you is quite a long one (care to open another location???). I’ve had my eye on all three of those inks and any one of them would make me very happy. I’ve been quite intrigued by the Stormy Grey, though. Hello! Never tried the new formulated Bleu Ocean, but I love both the rouge hematite and the stormy grey. I like the storm grey better though. As for warm weather in Toronto, well, what warm weather? ;)

The Great Prairie Outback (Brandon, Manitoba) is home and pen and inks can be a tough find- but not totally impossible. I may been around the world twice but to Toronto only once! If I ever get there I will make it a priority to visit your brick and mortar store! Only recently have I discovered your on-line shop and, like others have mentioned, we are fortunate to have a pen shop like Wonder Pens in Canada. I haven’t yet tried any of the J. Herbin inks but I’m leaning to the blue and/or grey so YEA!! thank you so much for the opportunity to potentially win one! Calligraphy is where my heart used to be and it’s finally time for the long awaited revival.

Finally a store in Canada that I can buy fountain pens and ink from. I love all three of the J. Herbin inks but if I had to choose, I would say bleu ocean, there is just something about that mysterious blue colour with a hint of a gold sheen that makes this ink so special.

Tough decision! I love all of the colours, but I think Rouge Hematite is still my favourite. Congrats on the new space, looking forward to coming and visiting you in your new location!

Must admit I haven’t tried either one of those Anniversary inks. I am curious to see the Stormy Grey or the Rouge Hematite. Somehow I’m not much of a blue fan when it comes to inks but love red tones. So the rouge would be my first choice. Thanks.

Congratulations on your move! Change is often viewed as a scary thing even when it’s a positive thing. Best of luck to you and I plan to stop in if I ever visit Toronto.
My personal favourite out of the three is Rouge Hematite, but I have never used Bleu Ocean.

I went to Toronto only once in my life, and it was for last year’s Scriptus pen show. It was a super fun adventure — even when our bus from Montreal to Toronto had a mechanical problem which caused a four hours delay in a rest area in the middle of nowhere… We spent the day at the pen show, my husband following me around (he is not that much into fountain pens…) but when we finally left, I couldn’t convince him to make a detour to see your shop before we head back to Montreal. I made him promise that this year, though, we would stay longer and come visit you at your new place!

Hi, Thanks for the giveaway! I like Rouge Hematite the best of the two I tried but still enjoy Stormy Grey immensely!

So glad I was able to visit Toronto on Friday and see your new space and, of course, stock up on a few supplies – one being a bright yellow pen. Always great service and have to admit that I’ve added a few more things to my wishlist.

I have always had a special place in my heart for blue inks, not sure why except that maybe it’s because as a child I was given a calligraphy set by my godparents and the ink included was blue – a number of times I was also blue…not the best idea to give a calligraphy set to a child but I did love that set. My love of blue ink continues today, so I would have to say that I’d love to have a bottle of Bleu Ocean. There is just something about blue ink that I have always loved.

Congrats on your successful move to the new location! The original Ocean Blue is one of my favourite inks, so I’m looking forward to trying out this latest member of the 1670 family.

I have never had the pleasure of trying any of these inks. More than likely I’ll end up picking up a bottle or two from your great shop at some time. Most likely the blue as my favourite inks are in that colour family. Black/grey are too plain for me but I understand the fascination with sheen, gloss and glow.

Would love to try any of these, but if I must pick, let it be blue!! I live in Quebec so have never visited the store. Maybe some day!

I love J. Herbin inks. I have the red and blue in this special edition but not the grey. I would love to have a set of all three!

Stormy grey because I love thunderstorms….and snowstorms…haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds lovely :)

I have only seen photos of these incredible inks, and I covet them all … as a resident of Nova Scotia, I am most intrigued by the Bleu Ocean because I imagine it evoking the Atlantic ocean on a sunny day.

I just want to try everything……Wonder Pens is the only store I buy from as I have had great service from the owners and really enjoy following them in their journey. I almost feel like I am there with them….guess that’s why I will buy my products from them. Best of luck in your new location.

Hello from Calgary! Every one of those inks seems so precious, I think I like the blue one the best, the gold sheen just gives it an almost magical quality. Congrats on the new location, it’s looking great!

I think Stormy Grey is the one I’d be most excited to try. There seems to be the most amount of gold particles in that one (the more, the better!).
