Behind the Shop
It’s hard to believe it’s been three months since things have really ramped up here in Toronto and Canada. What a year.
Usually at the Victoria Day weekend, we repot the plants, but time has been a bit slim this year. Despite this, the plants continue to thrive. Sunshine, eavesdropping on everyone’s conversations. Nature taking over.
For the first good chunk of this pandemic, the whole family was schlepping into the main shop, sometimes including the dog. Everyday seemed like its own marathon: packing up extra clothes, negotiating breakfast and tooth brushing, packing lunch and snacks, planning homeschooling work the night before. And that was all before we even made it into the shop.
It's Victoria Day Monday here in Ontario, which is a holiday. Weekends and holidays and "normal days" are all sort of rolling into one.
It was so much heart-warming and inspiration to read all of the ways you've been keeping busy and trying to manage.
