February Newsletter from Your Friends at Wonder Pens
Dear Pen Friends,
Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Family Day, Happy Lunar New year! This chilly February, there's lots to celebrate. We've received the Pilot Vanishing Point in black with rhodium trim, and we're looking forward to getting the Matte Black VPs as well. Jon has been clicking away. The Lamy 2000 has come...and gone: we're currently sold out, but expecting more soon! You can read more about the Lamy 2000 on our blog here. Uppercase Magazine released a Calligraphy & Lettering Issue, which is pages and pages full of broad edge and pointed pen and brush calligraphy. Get a closer look. We received several new colours of the Noodler's Flex Pens, although we are still out of stock on the Konrads. Unfortunately, we've had to put through some price increases - with the Canadian dollar performing sadly, bringing some of our favourite American goods across the border has been challenging. You can read more about this here.
There's lots going up on the blog including a look at Kaweco's Calligraphy Nibs, news on InCoWriMo, International Correspondence Writing Month, a review of the Waterman Hemisphere, and lots more!. Instagram, Twitter and Facebook are also a great way to stay in the loop.
*** We're pretty excited for some new things coming up over these next few months. Lamy is releasing their Special Edition Al-Star and Safari - and we're hoping to get their Al-Star close to the end of the month! Midori has announced their upcoming Special Edition Traveler's Notebook...in blue leather! We will be expecting that towards the end of April or beginning of May. And we have a special surprise from Kaweco! More to come on that over the next few weeks. As always, thank you for your support and your business - we wouldn't be here without you.
Jon & Liz
If you are not currently on our mailing list, consider signing up! If you also fill out your address to your account (optional), we may also send you lovely things in the mail. It may not be for this year's InCoWriMo, as I'm having a hard time keeping on top of replying to those who have already written (I'm working on it!), but who knows when the next flurry of letter-writting will strike!
