It's been a busy week, and what should arrive just in time for the weekend! The new Jacques Herbin 1798 Amethyste de l'Oural - the newest ink from J. Herbin, a rich, dark purple with silver shimmer.
Christmas Inks
I think one of my favourite parts about fountain pens is the fact that you can fill and refill and change the colour of your ink. I know this sounds kind of like an obvious fact, but you can love the same pen, and have it write with you for years, and through journal entries and letters and notes, but have it carry all different colours and brands and sorts of ink.
Pilot Iroshizuku Inks - Full Line in 50 mL + the Mini Bottles
It's been a long time coming, but we're finally carrying the full line of Pilot's Iroshizuku inks - and the exciting bit is that we're carrying both the full-sized 50 mL bottles as well as the mini 15 mL bottles.
A Tale of Two Diamines + a Sale on Diamine Inks
Caleb has learned how to climb onto chairs and then onto the kitchen table, so Jon has been hiding all of our chairs during the day. He's basically smarter than the dog, now. I read that really intelligent dogs are a match for 2-3 year olds, but I think it's official that our dog is not the sharpest extra fine point in the pen roll.
Iroshizuku Minis
We got in a few of these Iroshizuku 15 mL sets. Maybe it's because I'm a small fish in a world made for regular sized people, but I have a thing for mini sized things. It's just so nice when things are appropriately sized - meal portions, chairs, clothes, 15mL Iroshizuku bottles.
