Pen does not come with any ink. TWSBI ECO can be a bit more difficult to fill from ink samples and works best filling from bottled ink.

Received pen in the mail late last week along with a bottle of Lamy Benitolite (another review). From order to in my hands in 3 1/2 business days... Thank you!
Had been using a Lamy Safari (black/charcoal with black nib (F)) for the last 5 years as my daily and has seen some really hard times!! Trying the ECO has been an eye opener. This pen puts ink to paper as smooth as butter (med nib)!!! Truly was not expecting this to slide over the paper like this and was expecting it to be a little scratchy.
Function is 100%! No leaks thus far and fits hand perfectly. Aesthetically the pen is gorgeous (rose gold accents) and ink capacity is more than I had hoped for (way more than the volume of the Lamy's Z28 converter) - no more need to carry spare disposable cartridges when on the road or working from another office location.
Currently keeping daily project notes in a Moleskine A5 hard cover - 0 bleed and 0 see through! Just finishing the last few pages of this notebook off and will be moving to a Leuchtturm when the Moleskine is done. I expect that the pen will also perform as it has on the current medium.
Only thing that irks me is that I should have gotten this in a Fine nib size instead of the Medium...
I'm a big fan of the TWSBI ECO fountain pen; I already have a few, but this is my first EF. It behaves as beautifully as I have come to expect.

I don’t usually write a review but just wanted to let fountain pen enthusiast. This pen in medium write like a dream. I just receive the pen today and the enjoyment is real. great for school and everything else. the pen came in early and the packaging that was delivered was well protected. thank you. wonderpen! will be looking forward for future purchases!
