Mitsubishi Recycle Pencil 9800EW - B

I find the B grade of the 9800 EW a perfect blend of smoothness and writing feel.

I actually find I prefer the feel of the B grade of the 9800 nicer to me than the 9000 or Uni Star. The wood and graphite doesn't feel as stiff, but since there is no coating, the writing feels smoother and I can write for much longer. However, the other pencils seem to wear out slower.

This is the perfect pencil for me to take notes, and make calculations. It sharpens easily and retains a good point with a long point sharpener.

The visible joinery of the recycled wood is very nice too, although since there is no lacquer, some pencils feel a little unfinished and rough. I like the grip the unfinished pencils give, but some may prefer the thicc lacquer on the other Mitsubishi pencils that feel and look much more luxurious.
