As with anything from Rhodia, the paper quality is unquestionable. The elastic retainer attached to the back cover (which, like the front cover, is firmer than you would expect for paper-bound notebook) is a nice touch and can double as a bookmark. The size is just a tad bigger than the standard pocket notebooks from Rhodia and Clairefontaine, but that's not really a dealbreaker. Unfortunately, the design of the binding and the extent to which the notebook opens make it just about impossible for the writing surface to lie flat. This is bad for my handwriting and/or makes it very difficult to use the full width of the page.
