Not brown

Very pretty colour, definitely not brown though. Very pinky. Not a bad thing, but if you're expecting brown it's a fun surprise. It works well on cheap paper and is very smooth. On my Lamy safari m nib it is a peach colour but darker. My only complaint is that J. Herbin's bottles are one of the worst I've seen. It makes it very difficult to get the last couple of ml of ink, which is very frustrating. It's like having a jammed desk drawer that opens a couple of inches so you can see everything but you can't reach anything. Other then that, wonderful ink. Probably one of the fastest I've used up a bottle.
