Not Dark Lilac, but a unique and loveable ink

If you're looking at this ink as a substitute for the fabled Dark Lilac special edition, you'll be sorely disappointed with this ink. However, if you approach it without those expectations, what you'll find is a very vibrant "blurple" with a surprising amount of lime green sheen. It works well on all types of paper, as is expected of Lamy inks. Overall, if you're looking to add just one of the Lamy Crystal inks to your collection, it would have to be this one.

Nice, but colour can be very paper dependent

Tried this one out as I do like rich, deep blue inks. This one seemed to fit the bill, and largely does, though can definitely pick up a purple note depending on the paper. Looked more purple on TN refill paper, while more like the blue I expected on a Rhodia pad. Either way, a very nice colour, just be prepared for some purple.
