We now have Yohaku washi tapes in the shop. I’ve been so excited for this, anxiously awaiting the shipment from Japan. I’ve had a moderate-sized collection of Yohaku tapes that’s been growing over the last years. I picked up several rolls when we were in Japan five years ago, and I’ve only added to them since.

I love them in my journal pages, in my Traveler’s Notebook, and they add a subtle touch to gifts, when you’re wrapping or adding a gift tag or note. Some of them are going to be great for the holiday season coming up, but they’re mostly all such careful and delightful designs.

One of my favourite things to do is to catalogue the new tapes into my Life notebook, which I generally do late at night, babies asleep, headphones playing something

In any case, time and weather and daylight savings stop for no man, and my bare ankles have met the frosty cold with regret. Chicken has not quite moved back in with his humans, but I’m looking forward to the imminent return of the prodigal son. We will not be slaughtering any fattened calf, but there will be snuggling and nose booping. Just as good, if not better.

That bluish red ink in the August 28th entry is heavenly. Which ink is it? I may just have to get some.

I also love the way you catalogue your washi tapes in the Life notebook. I may consider using a notebook whose paper I don’t love to do something like this.

I love Yohaku tapes! They add this lovely little tactile-ness in my Hobonichi when I flip through the pages (I always place them in the corner where I grab to flip a page). And they’re just so cute and minimal so you can have stickers without it looking so busy. <3

Washi tape is a nice addiction. And perfectly armless. LOL
I have just put your picture of the tail peeking from the fence as my desktop wallpaper.
