We are so excited to launch these super special washi tapes designed by TheCoffeeMonsterzCO! These are collaboration tapes available through us and on her website (where she also offers so many other cute stickers and washi tape and other stationery treats!). They are destined for Hobonichi pages, snail mail, journals and more.

They are, of course, stationery themed—fountain pens, inks, little people doing stationery things—but there is one roll that is both stationery and…our shop cats?? How did we end up here? What is going on in this world? We’ve lucked out in so many ways, but this one is an extra pinch-me sort of moment. Needless to say I’ve been taping everything. Life can sometimes get a bit heady, lots going on, big anxieties or tiny worries, and every once in a while, a little stationery treat is just what you need.

We are so grateful to have crossed stationery paths with Helen, who is so lovely to work with, super organized and thoughtful and so creative. It was actually her idea to integrate our shop cats, who are…shop cats but also quasi-feral and a bit rusty at being shop cats, to say the least. If you’re ever in need some some stationery or planning inspiration, she has a YouTube channel where she shares studying tips, behind the scenes of her videos, planning and more.

We are planning on getting a restock in a couple of weeks—late September or maybe early October. They are selling quickly, and if any of the designs sell out before you get a chance to pick them up, you can sign up for an in-stock notification on the product page.

95% of the time it feels like I have no idea what I’m doing, and I’m just winging everything, running a stationery shop, renovating a house, raising kids, taking care of cats, posting things (cats) on social media, existing in this city full of busy, successful, ambitious people who all seem to know what’s going on. And this is just yet another example of how, despite all this, we have lucked out in running this shop, that there are people in the stationery community who are so talented and thoughtful, and are also so willing to work with us, to celebrate our shop cats, to just enjoy the journey. There have been lots of big and small milestones over the last decade of Wonder Pens, and it’s hard to believe how far we’ve come.
