We’ve finished up school! Unbelievable. We are all floating on this ocean of time and life and I for one am trying not to drown. The other day the baby had washi tape in the poo in her diaper, her intestinal tract having considered it indigestible dietary fiber, which is next level commitment to the stationery life.

Summer is here, and I’m just along for the ride (actually, I’m just here providing the ride to various camps and activities, along with deflecting requests for McDonald’s ice cream and refereeing backseat scuffles) and taking pictures. I told Naomi the other day that summer was going to go by in the blink of an eye, that she would close her eyes one day and when she opened them, she would be going to school again. She didn’t believe me, which is the folly of youth.

In any case, I thought I would share a few photos from these last final days finishing up school, starting into the summer. The deck boards are too hot for bare feet, we’re all sweltering in the car before the AC picks up, I’m scrounging around in the pantry for lunch material. Soaking up every minute.

Here is a live action shot of Caleb “learning” and not trying to take out his own eye with an eraser. Agh! Knowledge! Information! His eyeballs are burning!

Here is a live action shot of me trying to fix the internet in the studio shop/apartment upstairs.

Tuna trying to break into the food locker and Naomi “blocking him”/and/or/opening the drawer wider.
