We flushed and re-filled our tester ECOs in the shop with some new inks for spring - flowers for Mother's Day or to celebrate warm weather and all the beautiful colours coming now.

These inks are in our tester ECOs, medium nibs, available for you to write with in the shop to try out. I am normally someone who picks some pretty dull and grim colours for my own pens, which I call "earthy," so it was nice to have some bright and cheerful colours picked out by Micah.
This is an older sticker of Micah, who now has short hair, but rest assured we have more sticker faces coming soon, and with them will come another round of staff picks. I am extremely excited to get new sticker faces in, Micah's in particular, but everyone's faces are always lovelier in sticker form.

In other news, we got a new pen display. As a relic from our not-so-long-ago-days-potentially-just-last-week when we weren't exactly rolling in the dough from our fountain pen sales, shop furniture can be quite expensive and so we've always been a bit scrappy in "redecorating," or really accumulating furniture as we grow and have more items to display.

I sort of love that each of our pieces in the shop have their own story - furniture that Jon and I got when we first got married, tables we found off the street and cleaned up, desktops stained with spilled ink - but at the same time I must admit the eclectic look can sometimes be a bit mismatched.

Hopefully as time passes we can be more selective with the bigger pieces we need to invest in, and slowly start shaping the look of the shop, but for now, Jon hunted this beauty down off of Kijiji and I'm as thrilled to have it here as the team is to have to rearrange the furniture in the shop.
