TWSBI ECO Fountain Pen - Irish Green with Onyx

The pen is beautiful and now that I have worked through its fault it works wonderfully.

I picked up the floor demo and I really wished I was told to instantly grease the piston before even daring to use it. I spent the last hour fishing a paperclip through the nib to push the piston far enough out of the barrel for the piston teeth to actually function. I should have known better that the piston shouldn't be that rough but it is my first piston filler.

Now that its been greased up it works like clockwork and I am loving how it looks and feels. If anything this was a good introduction since I now feel I know this pen better than some people who might have multiple. But please learn from me and keep that piston greased!

My second TWSBI Eco, and perhaps the first pen I decided to buy within seconds of seeing it. The black trim pretty much guaranteed it and I'm actually considering getting another. I have it in extra fine paired with Spruce County Post by Ferris Wheel Press, and it's been fantastic to write with and makes my heart happy to see. Next ink up is Fishermen At Sea by Dominant Industry.

A colour combination that I never thought would ever be made… in the same great reliable pen that we all know and love! Great ink capacity, and robust nib. The photos don’t do this pen justice in how gorgeous it is in person!!!
