Sailor 1911S Fountain Pen - Special Edition - Ninja Maki-e - Kusarigama

The Ninja played a significant role in Japanese history, especially during the Muromachi period (1336-1573) and the Edo period (1603-1868). Employed by warring feudal lords, the Ninja were known for their stealth, espionage, and combat skills. Their missions included night raids, sabotage, and gathering crucial information about the enemy. To survive and successfully return to their lords, Ninjas often used a variety of weapons, such as swords, shurikens, and makibishi.

The Ninja #2 Series draws inspiration from the most mysterious figures in Japanese history, who were known for their unique weapons and methods. The pens in this series are named after some of these weapons, each with its own distinctive design:

Kusarigama: This fountain pen has a dark blue body and a 14K gold nib. It's named after the kusarigama, a weapon used to entangle an opponent's weapon or ensnare their neck or legs.

Includes one proprietary Sailor converter for using with bottled ink, and two proprietary Sailor black ink cartridges.

Kusarigama – 14K gold nib with Gold plating and Gold trim
