A classically shaped pen with some modern finishes. The Custom 74 is a moderate sized pen sporting Pilot's smooth 14k gold nib. The pen is also one of the few Pilot models that houses the Con-70 converter allowing for a larger ink capacity.

Comes with: 1 Pilot Con-70 converter and Pilot ink cartridge.

Next best to falcon

I can’t believe I wasted money on the 12 other pens I own. Mostly Noodler pens. The gave me no satisfaction out of the box and they lay in a box never to be used. When I first bought my first pen I was told that the pilot Falcon and the Custom 74 was an advanced user pen. Too expensive for the beginner.Wrong ! If this can fit your budget buy it. It is perfect out of the box and never railroads at all regular writing is so smooth and if you want to add the slightest pressure you will get the thicker down stroke no problem! I wasted enough money to have bought 4 of these
