Life Japanese Stationery Margin Notebook - A5 - Section

Pretty good. Paper has in places suspicious compatibility with fountain pen ink, where it wont cover the lines of the paper. But good enough for a general notebook for the price.

I want to like this paper. It has slightly off-white paper that shows off fountain pen inks well, the paper itself is smooth, the grid lines aren't super obtrusive, the margin is kind of useful for my job, and the pages lie flat when opened. But unfortunately about a third of each page has horrible, blobby feathering (but almost no bleeding, except on broader nibs). The feathering is always in random splotches on each page, usually at the bottom or in the middle.

A5 is a great size. Great paper, solid binding. A favourite of mine.
