Kaweco Perkeo Fountain Pen - Breezy Teal

Giving this 4 stars as nothing wrong with the pen, just the 3-faceted grip is not a fit for me. I have a Lamy ALStar which is ok for my grip, but have avoided the more assertively-shaped Safari grip for this reason. This one hurts my thumb joint after just a few lines. Nice smooth M nib, and pen has good weight when posted (it is very light, which some might not enjoy). Really nice subdued teal colour. Great pen at this price point if you enjoy that grip shape! I will gift it.

I wanted to try a Kaweco but was unsure I'd like the nibs enough to be okay with a smaller ink capacity, so I got the Perkeo before getting a Sport. It's smooth, ink flows well (currently inked with Golden Lapis by Pelikan and no clogging so far), and love that it posts. If *anything*, I wish it was a bit more weighted; it's a touch too light for me! I also would prefer a narrower barrel, but it seems I'm in the minority in general about that for fountain pens.
