This ink has a beautiful soft desaturated green with lots of shading when writing, that reminds me of colour variation in Hens & Chicks succulents. I'm new to Ferris Wheel Press inks and this ink seems like it was made for wide nib pens. Or perhaps for watercolour-like painting. I received this ink in a mystery sample. Initially I was frustrated with it in my Lamy Fine nib where it was too hard to read and felt quite dry (3 stars or less), then I figured out it's way happier in my Lamy 1.9 stub nib (4-5 stars). My swatch does look like the photo above: the edges turn darker green and areas are soft green while others are a blushing pink grey. The Mountain of Ink website has examples of writing in various nib sizes.
This color is a bit of a slightly lighter de-saturated version of Peter Moss. The color doesn't look like the swatch, I have no idea how they even got that color, I'd say the very middle of that swatch is the closest color to what this one is. but I do so love this color.
Absolutely gorgeous. A superb greyish-green, calm and subdued, slightly pale but still readable. This has been the only ink I've used since I got it last week, and I love it. The packaging is beautiful, the bottle feels substantial and there is a sticker label on the back of the bottle so I won't forget what colour is in there if I should happen to lose the box. The ink dries quickly and I haven't had a smear yet. This colour is the one from Ferris Wheel I was most interested in and it has met my expectations perfectly.
