Yamato Nori Sticking Paste (Starch Glue) - Jar

This traditional glue has been used for over a century with delicate Japanese rice papers and other crafts. Designed to apply especially to Japanese paper, washi, it is acid-free, archival and made from natural tapioca starch.

This paste allows for re-positioning before setting, has a smooth consistency for application, and prevents wrinkles in thin papers.

My Favourite Glue

Since trying Yamato sticking paste, I'm mad at my past self for not trying it sooner! This glue is amazing for bookbinding and for other paper arts that require a little bit of time before the glue dries, so you can adjust your work. It dries clear and flexible, so no cracking and unsticking if your paper bends. And a big thanks to Wonder Pens for carrying the jar. My other go to art supply stores only carry the tubes, but I go through it so fast, it's great that I can buy it in more of a bulk from here. I definitely recommend this glue to any paper artist or crafter.
