Gorgeous old gold/sepia

Lovely ink with a surprising amount of shading, you definitely can feel the increase in the 'Kobe' level of quality, it's a smooth flowing ink with moderate lubricity and writes well, minor spidering on some papers.

Possibly not the best daily writer, the narrow nib on my VP doesn't put down enough ink to brink the best out in the colour but would, I think, make a spectacular signature ink in a broader nib, particularly anything stub, oblique or where you're going to get flow/linewidth variation. It's a very 'responsive' ink.
