Welcome to our staff picks!
Once a week we'll update this section with a few fun things from our shop for you to browse. Don't forget to check our Weekly Specials, too.
Diamine inks have come back into stock after a long, cold winter. Possibly the best part of spring! They come all the way from the UK.
Diamine inks are wide ranging. Their standard line features classics like Ancient Copper, Majestic Blue and Sargasso Sea. Ah! The disaster of a spill of Oxblood. Their 150th Anniversary inks come in triangular pie-shaped bottles. Several years ago they began released series of Shimmertastic inks in a huge variety of colours which contain gold or silver shimmer, and with some that sheen. They’ve also recently released their Inkvent lines in full bottles, which we now have.
It is a buffet of choice.
My personal favourite probably Ochre, although Earl Grey made things a bit tricky for me.
A small sample of other staff favourites:
Elaine: Earl Grey, Ochre, Damson, Salamander, and others she’s forgotten
Brendan: Autumn Oak
Josh: Dark Forest
Caleb: Red Dragon
Many moons ago, we used to make buttons to include with orders. It has been some time since we had the manpower for that delightful operation, but one of my favourite buttons was always our Shimmertastic one, without a doubt the most labour intensive one we made. Read more on the blog.
As a special treat for this week’s staff picks, we are creating a Diamine Mystery Ink Sample pack, featuring inks from across their lines, including Inkvent, Anniversary, standard and Shimmertastic.
Here is to the rainbow of life,
