Kaweco Classic AL Sport Fountain Pen - Raw

Aptly named their "classic" fountain pen, the Sport has been an icon of the Kaweco brand for more than 80 years. This aluminum version is hand-polished to a matte surface, and is heavier than the regular finish. This fountain pen has a steel nib and iridium tip for extra smooth writing.

Aluminum model should not be converted into the eye-dropper method as the ink can react with the metal.

Comes with 1 Kaweco cartridge.
Compatible with Kaweco cartridges (International Standard Short Cartridges). Converter available separately.
Clip available in gold or silver - sold separately.

bought this pen for looks and now I regret it

Bought the pen because I loved the look of the shiny, polished aluminum and I've loved my other Kaweco sport pens; however, I find the grip on this pen is is too slippery and makes the pen awkward to use. The threads on the pen I received also appear to be stripped as there is movement of the cap on the barrel when posted and even the nib section feels loose and moves when the pen is in use. I am disappointed in this pen and wish I had went with something else and purchased another pen, it feels as though it will become even more problematic for me over time and I have only attempted to use it a couple times since I received it.

Light (it's aluminum after all), warm, shiny, warm, dependable, and so warm in your hand. Love this pen!
