Made in Taiwan, these new Opus 88 fountain pens feature a huge ink capacity as well as a unique, Japanese style eye-dropper filling mechanism. The pen has an ink shut off value to prevent ink from leaking into the cap during travel or changes in air pressure. During longer
writing sessions, leave the shut off valve open so ink can make its way down into the feed.

Great pen!

I've been using this pen pretty much non-stop since I got it a few weeks ago. The nib has the right amount of feedback for me (I don't want it to be *too* smooth when quickly jotting notes or I won't be able to read my horrible scribbles), and the ink capacity is huge.

I was worried it was going to be a little too heavy for long writing sessions as it's a bigger pen than I usually use, but it's just right for me. I'm very happy with it!
