In fact, installing a Schmidt type International converter is a quite hectic business if it is not the 'Kaweco' converter! You should also update the product description as well.

If you just try to fit in any Schmidt converter, Chinese International ones doesn't even fit due to their nozzle diameter, the fitting is not tight at all. If you try to ink with this state, the converter will not be inked fully due to lack of good sealing at the section-converter area.

It turns out that the section's inner wall has metal thread. Thus, you cannot use 'any' international converters at all. The feed's converter/cartridge fit might be the international size, but the inner wall thread of the section actually prevents many international standard (Schmidt type) converters to fit.

Normally, Kaweco's International standard converters have those outer wall threads to fit into the section's inner wall thread.

I'm not sure this is the case on 250 model. But 060 model has those inner wall trouble. You can fit any converter if you can risk damaging converter's surface by forcefully screw into the section. The metal inner threads will scrape through the converter's surface. It kind of works but not a good solution.

My unit with EF works quite ok with the 'forced' fitting. But getting a 'Kaweco' International Converter is recommended.

Ordered an EF nib and the pen came with a doggy/cat picture but without a converter! Typical Chinese converters do not fit... the converter must be the Schmidt compatible international standard.

The body finish is pretty good and almost scratch immune! The threads are all anodized aluminum finish, though. The cap seal seems to be ok with the o-ring. But the sealing quality remains to be seen. The cap opens with 1.75 turns. Not too bad for a screw cap pen.

The nib/feed setting seems to be a bit dry (EF). So, pairing this pen with a dry ink may not be a good idea. The nib+feed unit seems to be the same as the Kaweco Sport's one. At least it didn't skip too much so far, written x10 pages of B5 pages on both Midori MD and Rhodia. But the inkflow felt like the pen is 'about' to be skipping all the time.

As the product description says, posting the cap isn't so good idea. The weight distribution seems to be optimized to 'non-posting' situation. But the pen itself isn't so long, even shorter than a posted Kaweco Sport. So, beware, if your hands are on the 'large' side.

Overall, the pen's body and section are quite pleasant to hold. But the lack of the standard converter in the package and dry nib was a bit of letdown, considering the price and the brand.
