A Workhorse beyond compare

I've had this pen 10 years, I am a pen and ink artist and tutor. I draw nearly everyday with this pen and the Platinum Carbon black ink. You can get amazing variation of line width from the back of the nib fine to a good medium broad stroke under pressure. Initially I bought other more expensive pens but this one is the go to. Fantastic Pen

I adore this pen. I got the fine nib and it writes with a smooth and precise line. I keep picking this pen up and it is always inked up with Noodles Black.

It's classy looking, and that nib!!!! Wow.

Buy one. You will never trgret it.

I LOVE this pen.

This is an amazing pen. I have the 3776 Century, with the three-tined music nib, which lays an awful lot of ink on the page, but if you make sure to use good paper (I have used the Life brand Kappan notepads, the Noble A4 pads, Rhodia web notebooks and a beautiful leather notebook from Chapters by Arcada - I think); and good ink (I've never used anything in this pen, but J. Herbin's Perle Noir), then it is nothing short of spectacular.

The nib is simply smoothness itself. The science grad' student in me balks at using a word like "frictionless", but that is what springs to mind as it glides across the paper.

It's not a large pen, but it is still extremely comfortable in my large hands, posted or unposted.

My only regret is that maybe I should have gone for the burgundy - it looks so nice, but so does the black and gold, and the blue is beautiful too... maybe one day.
