Kaweco Liliput Fountain Pen - Fireblue

Do you like small, minimalist pens? This is it. The Liliput is small, it will probably be the smallest pen you will ever own, and sports a smooth cylindrical design. The Fireblue is tempered steel, and each one is hand-torched giving each a unique look. The nib, feed and housing are the same ones used for the AL Sport. With threads on the back of the body, the cap posts nicely, giving this pen a good length and additional weight while writing.

This pen does not take a converter, and is compatible with Kaweco cartridges (International Standard Short Cartridges).

A perfect small pen

This tiny Kaweco Liliput has a surprising weight and presence in the hand, and I find it so satisfying to use that it's hard to convince myself to use other pens. The patina is gorgeous to look at, and the way the metal warms to your hands is pleasant and grounding. There's something about it that just feels... I don't know. Intimate? Earthy? Definitely a "must" if you prefer small pens. My only complaint is that it loves to roll away the second you place it on a flat surface. I wish it came with a clip.

Fireblue Liliput

I love Kaweco pens, and I particularly like the finish on the new Fireblue. It's a nice addition to my collection.
