TWSBI SWIPE Fountain Pen - Salmon

This is a great pen to discover how wonderful TWSBI is and what makes them special. I was surprised to see all of the choices for holding ink that was with this pen. Whether you want to use TWSBI's oversized cartridge that holds a good amount of ink, or their easy-to-fill converter. I have owned this pen now for 4 months and I use it daily at work and I have to say, the nature of my job includes a lot of writing. Right from the start, this pen has been a smooth writer and never failed me with constant and even ink flow. The nib is so smooth and it's lightweight keeping fatigue to a minimum while writing. The price point of this pen allows me to not worry about it getting banged around and fearing losing the pen. The cap does post and provides a good seal when storing. The Swipe gives you a pretty good overview of what TWSBI provides in their product line and I am looking forward to my next TWSBI purchases. I recommend the Swipe as a great starter pen in the TWSBI line.

I was wanting to try TWSBI and thought I'd start with the SWIPE. It's a terrific pen at this price point, and I love the filling mechanism. For those who don't it also comes with a converter and a cartridge. It writes smooth, it holds a ton of ink, and it feels great in the hand. Open, flush and fill -- so quick and easy to use, perfect for someone just entering the hobby (I'm new myself). Of all of the pens I've tried this one is a standout.

I found this lovely coral-coloured (or salmon-coloured) pen to be one of the easiest to load with bottled ink and used right out of the box. Instant gratification! The pen is light, and the medium nib is smooth. I paired the pen with J. Herbin Corail des Tropiques ink—a perfect match; joyful! With two options for international converters and compatible cartridges, it is versatile and can be used every day. I highly recommend this pen.
