The Castell 9000 was released in 1905, and has gathered a number of fans over the century. Ideal for writing, drawing, and sketching. Like other Faber-Castell pencils, the lead undergoes a "Sekuralverfahren" (SV for short) bonding process which strengthens the lead and allows for better sharpening.
