Life Stationery "Noble Note" Section Notebook - A5

Like the other review, this is my first Life Stationery notebook. The eye catching cover got to me, and even though it was a bit pricey for what I normally go for, I wanted quality for the notebook that acts as the main notebook for my thesis. The paper quality is incredibly smooth, and my 0.38 gel pens don't bleed through at all, although you can see the writing form the other side.
The thing that gets me most is how carefully constructed the notebook is. The binding is really meticulous (to my untrained eye) and while I'm worried a bit about how the cover will hold up, the actual notebook seems like it will hold well for the next year and a bit while I use it. It's more expensive than I can justify for a normal notebook for coursework, but gosh I wish I could. I'd love a collection of these.

This is my first Life Stationary Notebook and I'm glad I chose to invest into this one. It's got a lot of pages and I really am impressed by the quality of the paper. Handles pencils, pens, and even fountain pen ink very well. I find that the paper has a very nice yellow tinge to it - somewhat like an offwhite eggshell colour, which works just fine for my purposes. And for those wondering what "Section" means: it's grid paper! :) So, that also works for my style of writing and journaling.
