I purchased this to dip a toe into the world of finer paper. It's quite lovely - very soft-feeling, a nice colour, fairly thick so there's not much bleed-through. I find that this paper is great when writing with sheening ink - Ferris Wheel Press' Writing Desk and Edwards Gardens look AMAZING on this paper! Lots of very obvious sheen. However, anything glittery seems to be very unsatisfying, as though the pen has trouble laying the ink down. I don't know how else to describe it, I just had lots of skipping (very noticeable when a fine TWSBI Eco and FWP Open Sea Atrium). Performs very well with Iroshizuku and shows off shading very nicely.
The paper feels extremely smooth and I'm wondering if that's part of the glittery ink trouble I had, but really, this is a nice product and if you're looking at trying out some nice paper this is a good way to do it.
