Life Stationery "Noble Memo" Section Pad - B7

I bought this product to have a pad with nice paper and a small footprint lying on my desk, aside from the traditional Rhodia pads. The paper handled all the inks I threw at it beautifully. I can use both sides of the paper if I need to, but I usually like to write on the recto side with the grid ruling; the verso side is blank. It has cream-coloured paper with faint grey (to my eye) grids. The colour is yellower than I expected, and with inks that have low saturation, the yellow of the paper changes their colour. The pages tear off easily and cleanly; because of this, I don’t think the pages are meant to be kept in the pad like you would keep them in spiral bound stationery.
I am not crazy about the colour, but since it’s quality paper, I would definitely buy it again. I would perhaps write with orange- or yellow-leaning browns, such as Diamine Ancient Copper or Ochre, Sailor Kobe #39 Renga or Jacques Herbin Terre d’Ombre.
