Jump start your 2026 creative journaling practice! This workshop is designed for Hobonichi users who want to engage with playful, expressive ways to use their planners. We will explore accessible creative techniques that will transform your journaling habit into a vibrant creative practice. We’ll try a variety of mixed media techniques like gouache painting, constructing flaps and pockets, and making bold headlines with cut-out letters.
You are welcome to bring all of your own favourite materials and personal ephemera to utilize throughout the workshop; shared materials will also be provided.
Bring your Hobonichi planner, other planner, or any other journal or notebook.
Marissa Neave has been journalling and creating daily in her Hobonichi Cousin, and shares her ideas, inspiration, and techniques on her Instagram. She uses collage, art supplies, fountain pens, and creative techniques to document her daily life, travels, stationery, and family memories.
By registering online here, you understand that at least 72 hours in advance is required in case of cancellation for up to 50% of the course fee. After 72 hours, the course fee is no longer refundable. In case of cancellation, course materials are not provided.
