I use this ink infrequently because I tend to write in blue-black. I bought this on a whim because I loved the swatch with the wine and green. It is true to the swatch, the sheen is easier to see on flex or stub/broad nibs but can be seen on the finer nibs on high quality paper. It's great for Journaling, ink painting, and just an all around fun shade. I will probably own this forever while I replace my regular inks frequently, but that's a comment on my usage and not the ink's quality. If I ever run out I will purchase this again!
Although the Troublemaker Inks provide a decent value, I am a little disappointed with Nenita. Anywhere I've looked, I've seen this ink shown as a sheening ink, moving from green to a shiraz wine colour. Having now acquired the ink and tried out swabs and writing, I only have the wine colour, with only a bare hint of green sheen. Hmmm?!
