The J. Herbin 1798 is a new series in the J. Herbin line of inks featuring silver glitter in the ink. The inks comes in a beautiful 50 mL bottle sporting a lovely wax seal on it.

A stunning addition...

I generally like JH inks, and a couple of them are among my Top 5. This one now is, too. I LOVE blue with a tint of grey verging on teal. Seriously dramatic on even mediocre paper.

Like most JH inks it is not water resistant.

Highly recommended. If you like Emeraude de Chivor and Shogun this one is a winner. If you don't like sparkles or find they are a problem in your pens (I find them fine except in UEF pens like some of the 3776 line) then stay away!
