Similar to the J. Herbin 1670 inks, these inks feature micro particles of glitter (possibly fairy dust) which shimmer and shine.
These
inks are part of a line of 32 shimmer inks by Diamine. The shimmer's
colour (silver or gold) is identified by the colour of the bottle cap.

Shiny!

I love this ink for 2 reasons:
1) It is really shiny once it dries. I currently have it in a Lamy Safari with a Fine nib and the amount of shine it produces is quite impressive. Had I realized it would be so shiny, I probably wouldn't have inked a work pen with it. Next it goes into a Noodler's Konrad.
2) The price is great. The bottle contains the same amount as the J.Herbin 1670 Anniversary ink but it costs quite a bit less - almost $10.00.

The only reason I didn't give this ink 5 stars is the lack of waterproofness (that's a word, right?). I found this out at work. Fortunately, the only think left with ink smudges was me. If you don't need a waterproof ink, this shiny blue is a 5 star winner.
