Sailor Shikiori Fountain Pen Ink (20mL) - Sound of Rain - Shitoshito

Designed as companion inks to the Sound of Rain fountain pens that Sailor released in 2021, these inks are named for the different sounds that rain makes as it falls. The gentle rains of spring are expressed with the light teal color of Shitoshito, meaning ‘silent and still.’

The perfect light blue/green ink!

This colour will likely live permanently in my Sailor Eleuthera Island pen! It is the most ideal version of this colour; of which I've been searching for a very long time now! To be honest I held off on purchasing this ink for some time because I thought it would end up looking darker but in this pen I see more of the lighter tones of this ink which I just love! It reminds me of the delicate soft blue/green colour of blue spruce trees.

Barcarolle
Nice colour, but on the dry side.

I picked this ink up as I wanted a light blue ink that is more muted than J. Herbin Bleu Pervenche. I like the colour very much. But out of the few pens I have, only my Pilot Custom 74 Broad works with it. My Pilot Falcon SM, which writes on the wet side, feels rather dry and skips occasionally.
