The Write & Draw Cleaner helps you clean your delicate writing instruments.

Using pigmented and waterproof inks in fountain pens requires careful maintenance of these sensitive instruments. While fountain pens using dye-based inks can be cleaned with relatively little effort even after long periods of inactivity, you should take care not to let any residue dry inside the pen when using pigmented inks, as this can usually only be removed mechanically using aggressive cleaning agents.

To prevent this, we recommend that you always clean your fountain pens thoroughly after use. To achieve a better cleaning effect than with plain water, we developed the Write & Draw Cleaner. This special fountain pen cleaner dissolves the color pigments and the binder contained in Write & Draw inks, ensuring residue-free cleaning of your writing instruments. It is suitable for fountain pens, calligraphy pens, brushes, and glass pens.

If needed, you can leave the ink cleaner to soak overnight.
The Write & Draw Cleaner contains only mild cleaning agents, so it will not damage steel or gold nibs, feeds, or brush bristles. On nibs with colored coatings (gold, copper, black), these coatings may come off if additional mechanical cleaning is performed. We recommend testing this on an inconspicuous area first.

The fountain pen cleaner is not suitable for removing dried ink .

Just like the Write & Draw drawing inks, the cleaner is made exclusively from vegan ingredients.
