Elixir of the Gods

I received this lovely Caroube de Chypre ink as a gift from my daughter. It displays its beautiful shading and sumptuous colour best when used with broad nibs or pointed pen nibs that allow the ink to be deposited in extravagant swells. Truly a luxury ink for calligraphers who tend to be a little exhibitionistic!

Everyone loves Emerald, but this is also special

I also have the Emerald of Chivor which is gorgeous, but the brown is sumptuous, and well suited to the gold flecks. The ink is subtle and these flows really well so that the gold flecks in suspension won't clog. I've always been a fan of brown inks (which in my experience tend to clog sometimes).
