Diamine Shimmertastic: Purple Pazzazz (50 mL)

I picked up this ink and Golden Sands, also from the Shimmertastic collection, after some experience with J. Herbin's 1670 Anniversary Collection. Purple Pazzazz is without a doubt my favourite of the bunch.

Overall it's a very well behaved ink with a decent drying time and not a lot of shading. In a wet nib, especially a fine one, it will come out very very dark purple that borders on black. Once you find the right nib however, it can range from a lighter pleasant lavender to a rich almost royal hue. The added sparkle really just sells that idea even further!

It does require rolling or upending the pen before writing to mix the "glitter" back in from settling however, but that's the nature of such inks. I've not yet had any instances of clogging. Though I still wouldn't want to leave it in a pen long term.

This is a great ink if you want something with a little extra flare, and don't need something waterproof!
