Diamine Shimmertastic: Golden Sands (50 mL)

As a shimmering ink, this one really takes the cake. Diamine's Golden Sands not only dries a nice dark golden-yellow but the included sparkle really sells it. The ink even has decent shading to it, with some variation to the line as you write. With a really wet nib, which this will give almost anything, it has a nice "burnish" around the edges which can add an interesting aged feel.

The only real downside to Golden Sands is that it is quite watery. Surprisingly so. I'm not sure if it's due to yellow require less or different pigments but this one sits just behind runny. It'll behave while you write, just takes a while to dry and be careful not to bump or flick any pen you fill it with!

Overall a shiny winner, just a bit finicky.
